A reset command would come in handy for when you drop off the level

CyanSandwich responds:

There shouldn't be any point where you actually fall into the abyss. Try jumping back on screen

I died on the first night, and lasted 1 day.

I tried you, does that mean i beat the game?

NickConter responds:

did it said "you lasted 0 days?"

BrandyBuizel responds:

If you die during the transition into day it will count the night as survived. If somehow you manage to die on the first night it WILL say "0 days"

But where is John Cena?

deathink responds:

That is John Cena's poop in the game.

Finally some Hieronymus Bosch and it is for the kinky edition? really...

Munguia responds:

Hi Doomroar, thanks for comment and play, you can find Hieroymus Bosch on both versions of Horror Paintings Parodies, :)

Ok first of all the music is awesome!
The graphics look fine (it would be awesome if you could do a game that mixed the visuals/aesthetics that you have on your art gallery), and the humor is on point, underwear fighting is a classic after all.

Now to the rest of this thing:
This one is of utmost importance, the resolution is all messed up, at least for me 1/7th of the left screen side is cut off, not appearing, that means i can't see the first half of the health bar on that side, or the additional info displayed on it leg, arm, etc. BTW great feature to have individual health bars for each body section.

And on a lesser degree, the button distribution for player 1 is a pain, if player 2 is already conveniently accommodated on the arrow keys and the numeral keys for the use of 2 hands, then i don't see why everything on player 1's side has to be lumped down under one hand.

Well other than that this is a great first game, congrats man.

flf3030 responds:

Thank you for the feedback !
If you liked the music I invite you to visit and share the Shackleford page, there's a lot of hip hop tracks in the same mood there.
About the resolution, the game is in 1280x720, i should maybe post a lesser resolution. And you're right with the player 1 inputs. I will certainly update the game as I want to do a better AI and adjust some numbers.

Hey 3rd place way to start the year!
Congrats man.

Cyberdevil responds:

Thanks man, I couldn't have been more surprised this morning when I popped up the P-Bot post to review! :) Last time I submitted a level gadget most responses went along the lines of: 'this isn't a game'... Seems the audience has truly matured! Maybe all those Reddit users coming back has filled this place with a longing for nostalgia and NG wisdom, maybe it's the 20th Anniversary coming up that's letting users once again appreciate the rich history of this place, maybe I just submitted this thing at just the right time or happened to have a loading screen everybody liked. Whatever it was I am honored! :D

I wasn't expecting to do so well, some were easy mostly because you didn't deleted the names.

Munguia responds:

ha ha, Thanks for review Doomroar, easy version is not available anymore, i just upload the extra blur version.

I want these to go on forever!

Munguia responds:

Yes Doomroar, i just cant stop, if you want to take a look into future material follow FPP on Face book

So the cat was a psycho tsundere, legit.

Sometimes it is hard to find the patting around the bed to avoid the clearly lethal standard path.

kerihobo responds:

I had to google what a Tsundere is... haha... yes exactly that xD Yeah I think the bedroom confused/annoyed most ppl.

Well for starters it needs walls you can perfectly fall forever if you jump into the nothingness at the spawning point, a roof would also help, granted it will make it harder for the player to see how big and where the flames are, but then at least add a glass or burned/destroyed ceiling.
It has the typical clumsiness of camera control that most games made in this engine have, but that can't be helped i guess.
The ligthing and reflection on the objects is working fine, and i like how the floor and the walls change each time you get close to parts near the fire.

Other than that nothing else, since we are in the age of bastardization of videogames, none of those things (like objectives) are needed, to my great dismay even those 3d maps on Encarta (before Wikipedia was widely used) can be considered videogames, and the same goes for those digital picture books, they now are videogames too.

So put a random ambiguous message at the the second fire, some ambience music and call it a day, people will kill themselves trying to defend the right of this thing to be called a videogame.

ShadyDingo responds:

Absolutely agree with the idea of how people just throw shit everywhere XD If anything there are simulations everywhere more than actual games. I'm nowhere near finished with this and there are definitely more things that can be done to make this prettier and closer to the game it is meant to be. There is a story behind it, but I'm waiting until my teammates finish their other two levels as well so then it all just works together somehow. Thank you for your feedback and generous rating XD

Well clearly i don't appreciate my time enough, with me being here, writing this, but the same goes for you reading this waste of time, aren't we quite the unoccupied fellows? Procrastination sure is something....
