More marines and chapters think the same and acts as the salamanders speacially the space wolves, but in the salamanders is more cool.
They still in contact with their families, just imagine a cool brother in a artisan tactical mkvii or mkx armor and a handforged thunderhammer adorned with fires and nocturnian dragons coming for the annual family dinner.
