I am siding with the ones in this comic tho, in time their kids will grow and be able to decide if they really want murder bear toys (which they will because murder bears are cool, all will forever be), but for now it is better if they get exposed to other stuff

You say he will learn to grow into it...but if they never show him reality from fiction and monster and scary things are just fake and meant as entertainment early on, then he will just grow up like them and believe that murder bears are evil/bad items and never to be engaged with ever.... or he rebels from his strict parents real hard later in life and goes total goth metal lol so there is that route too XD
