This was great i think is the first upbeat Drum N Bass song that i will add to my Ng playlist.

YakovlevArt responds:

I like the sound of that!
Thanks for the kind words =]

I will go with Eye-cue too.
Mad track, AxTekk strikes again.

I like the sound, the beat goes hard, and the lyrics are on point, best of all they don't diverge away from the theme just to fill space, and not only do they give some story about you, but also about NG, and how it used to be.

Now, to the part when my nature appears, sincerity.

I guess i am now sure, this can count as Nu metal, well there is a problem, and is that your voice is sometimes obscured by the rest of the sound, and at times it blends/merges with it, but not in the good sense of perfect harmony, but more of your voice ends in the background, so if it wasn't for the lyrics it would have been hard to know what you said at some parts.
I am not talking about "screamo" or anything like that, but your voice could have more volume, without the rest of the song going down, since it has already good levels.

Let me explain myself, in HelpThePoor's comment, he said that the rapping seems out of place, i disagree, a calm but constant rap can work perfectly with a fast paced beat, so my point is different, indeed it can be easily fixed by raising the sound levels of your voice.

But i do understand where HelpThePoor is coming from, if the song was longer it could have a solo added to it, and even a second verse when you totally change the mood to show a bold statement, since you reminisced in the first part (the past of NG that is now gone) and in the next part you show us the future, at the end you tell us "gotta fight enough! It's a dead fuse now but let us light it up! And let us let loose," i think the second verse could explore more that part. Of course this doesn't really count as a negative because, this is not really a problem! but more a thing of taste, is exactly that, indeed, this is quite a good song, so is a pity that is only a minute and a half long, but sure, is called "Cyberdevil's back", so it can pass as an intro, thus since is an intro it can't be that long.

What else can i say? nothing much really, other than the sound levels of your voice this song is damn good, and i guess that is what allowed me to make this review, since is so good feedback can be easily made for it, indeed i think this is my longest review for a song ever.

4.5/5 and 5/5 if the voice clarifies, now that i think of it, in the second round of this year's claptrap something similar happened, it was a problem with the mike of one of the competitors, and his voice ended like whispers, can't remember if he won, since i forgot who was the unfortunate MC, but i remember that even with that it was hard to choose a winner.

So, ready to go and take on the Claptrap 2014?

Cyberdevil responds:

Holy hell man, when you mentioned you'd be a bit more elaborate in your review I wasn't expecting such analytical grandeur! :) Thank you for this (thankfully sincere) fantastic mound of amounted feedback. To answer some of your questions...

I know what you mean. I also thought the voice was a bit low, but after a while it seemed normal. Knowing the lyrics it's also not easy to know how it would be like to hear from a different ear. This unclarity is partly due to the recording quality (a lack of higher frequencies, I've been told, which is the fault of my very basic recording device) but also due to the choice to keep the voice level the same as that of professional records. Hmm, mostly Jabun's choice, but I respect the professional approach. :)

As I understood HelpThePoor's comment, he meant that the introductory part doesn't fully sync with the beat, and that's true, but I kinda like the way it catches up and then starts with a... blast!

If this was longer I wonder if it'd have the same impact. But yeah, it would be fun to delve more in detail into my thoughts about the NG Community, I have a few other lyrics on the topic though, hopefully some of them will see the light of day!

Oh, you're longest review yet! It's an honor. :)

Good score. I've thought about Clabtrap earlier but I'm not sure I'd like to battle people, that part of hiphop culture is still a bit foreign to me. Never say never though! Thanks again for great comments. :)

Hell yeah!

My Neck agh the pain, but the beat goes!

S-Rock responds:

I beat my beats off hard :P lol thanks bro

Sounds quite good why haven't you upload anything else?
Yeah i know the irony, since i myself hardly put anything here... but that is not really the point, the point is that you are good!

Teqneek wins, because the verse 4 didn't end being as good, but it is nice that Prometheus tried to do it, but it really dint' hit the spot, maybe in other occasion.

Haha Black Moses.

Insta fav.

Man this is a whole different vision, it almost makes the life of a researcher not seem that bad...

Teqneek responds:

I set out to create a game changer, lol. But it would be sweet if "I'm Broke As Hell" rap replaced Money rap.

Well clearly i don't appreciate my time enough, with me being here, writing this, but the same goes for you reading this waste of time, aren't we quite the unoccupied fellows? Procrastination sure is something....
