Will no one tell him that evangaylion doesn't has giant robots, but giant humanoids that use armor latex suits, powered with the souls of the dead mothers of the pilots, a lot of gay teen angst, and not really deep christian symbolism to appear intelligent to people that clearly didn't paid attention and think that the series is about giant robots?

Also i agree anime was better in the 80's and 90's, it also had a lot of crap, but hentai was hentai, and not ecchi... nowadays is just blueballing galore and slice of life.

Go Nagai was only the co author, Getter Robo is the brain product of Ken Ishikawa, if you read his other works like Makai Tenshou and Kyomu Senki then compare them to Getter Robo, and other stuff by Go Naga you will find out the clear differences, for example for once there's not a transsexual character with a crush on the protagonist, i am looking at you Devilman and Violence Jack! (Which are supposed to be part of the same story according to some)
