My favorite arc is definitively all the way from Impel-Down to the Whitebeard saga, even if Usopp doesn't makes any appearance, buggy and Bon-chan manage to fill the space perfectly, and goddammit i cried manly tears with Bon-chan, Bon-chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!
and then Ace, Aceeeeeeeeeeeee!
and then Blackbeard appears and reveals his new crew, and then Whitebeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard nooooo.
and then Shanks appears and stops Akainu! and then 2 years passes, and then Akainu becomes head admiral and defeats Aokiji but doesnt kills him even if it was a duel to the death, and then everyone goes to the new world, and goddammit so much happens in that part!!!!!

Yeah Enies Lobby was good, but from Sabaody Archipelago onward shit starts getting real even more than before.

And i maybe the only one who doesn't hates Akainu, i mean we need antagonist like that, is a necessity, plus that awesome bastard is badass! is like the only marine that has done is work.

Ah, well the characters for my old comic are (as I mention in the image description) loosely based on the real One Piece characters in terms of personality. Naminam is a rapper, Franky is a Terminator, Robin is a lost soul, etc... as for if I had finished the Enies Lobby arc before I drew this, probably.... I'm not sure.

Yeah, those were a bunch of sad episodes! The plot was great, really emotional, but it feels like they didn't really capture the intensity of the battle at Marineford as good as they could've. There are those moments, and when Luffy appears before the three admirals, when Ace is freed, when the 'Golden Buddha' starts to fight but... between all these moments there's just a whole lot of filler and characters running around and not really getting anywhere. This shouldv'e been the pinnacle of the animation! Shit is definitely getting real, but it's also getting so drawn out. I hope they add a filler arc soon so they can add some space between the manga and the anime. Yeah, Akainu is the real deal, I hope they don't suddenly add some emotional trauma to his character, a past that formed him into he was... he is the perfect antagonist right now. Don Flaimngo too... still only getting to learn about him though.

Yeah, it was definitely before then. Let's see, if I drew this in 2007 I'd have seen... up to the point where they storm into Enes Lobby to free Robin! One of my favorite arcs! :D Maybe that's what inspired me to make this stuff... no comments on other eps? :P
